Ghost Watch

Ghost Hunters Wanted In Anahuac

The Chambers County Historical Commission invites the public
to the house of Thomas Jefferson Chambers for a lesson in history and a spooky surprise.

The Texas founding father and confederate soldier was reportedly shot through the window by the son of a business rival.
When the shot went through Chambers, or so the story goes, it entered a portrait of the man in the same place.

Bob Wheat, Chairman of the Chambers County Historical Commission, will take visitors through
the gruesome tale and await any signs from Chambers himself.

Visitors can expect the ghost watch to begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday (October 30, 2009) at 200 Cummings St., Anahuac.
(Next to the Chambers County Anahuac Library - following their children's program)
For information, contact Bob Wheat 409.267.6599.
